Exploration Center (yellow tab at top)Occupation Search →Career Clusters

From the gray box on the right, select a listing.

Example: Architecture and Construction Occupations

Click on:   Display Occupations (in red print above box)

Select Show All from the right hand side to view an alphabetical list of occupations.

                        Either choose a particular Cluster or select Show All Jobs.

Click on: 

Ferguson’s Career Guidance Center Career Descriptions Select an Industry

A listing of career possibilities for that industry will display. Select a career.

Once a career is selected, the job description for that career will display.

Click on Find OccupationsBrowse by Job Famil→ Pull down

menu on the right → Select a Job Family → Click Go

 

 

 

Part II.  Select two occupations of interest and provide the requested information.

 

1.        Provide a brief description of your two chosen occupations.

 

2.        List a minimum of 2 job responsibilities (or duties) for each occupation.

 

3.        Describe the working conditions for your two chosen occupations.

 

4.        List suggested courses you might take in high school for each occupation.

 

5.        Provide the salary or yearly earnings average for your occupations.

 

6.        Provide information on the employment outlook for your occupations.

 

7.        List an occupation related to your chosen occupations.

 

8.        List a related college major or technical program needed for your occupations.
