Native American Power Point Project

In this project you will be working in a group to research information about a native American tribe. Each member of the group will have their own part of the assignment and the group will be graded on their presentation of the parts in a Power Point. Your Power Point must be creative and informative.  The information you research must be written on the slides OR it can be written on a handout.  You must print out your slides to turn in after your presentation.

   4 Tasks:

1. Create a map and written description of the original and current location of the tribe. (3 slides)

       2. Research the history and culture of the tribe. (3 slides)

         3. List and describe at least three (3) ways the tribe resisted against whites. (3 slides)

  4. Describe how the tribe has adapted to modern life and what they do now. (3 slides)

Use the following links to research your tribe.  Books are also a great research tool.  It is your job to turn the information into words and images in a Power Point presentation to teach the class about your tribe. You will be graded on the rubric. (see below)
